Theo's plea for the older -- Thursday August 20th, 2009
So many times older pets are overlooked for no reason other than their age. Theo has been with us for exactly one year, but he was about 4 when he was rescued. So, he is about 5 now. It is sad to think that he may never have the chance to be special to someone who can love him unconditionally and forever. He doesn't claim to be the most handsome cat, but his beauty is within his sweet soul. He get lots of ooohs and ahhhs at adoption, but has never had any serious interests. We wonder why that is....except his age? Indoor cats can live long happy lives, possibly 18-20 years, so if you think of it that way....he's still very much a youngster! Please consider Theo or one of our other older pets, who were once a tiny kitten or a playful little pup. They want to be loved too!
Annie's Plea -- Friday July 24th, 2009
Annie is a cat that we have had in foster care since she was a kitten, which is 5 years now. Annie has a flea allergy and has been in boarding at the vets office for the last 3 weeks as we desperately try to find a foster home for her to go to. Better than that would be a forever home. Please help us help Annie.
